V. Legakis has extensively researched on visual arts and more specifically on video and photography. He researched on how can a photo represent the dynamism of a dancer whilst dancing. While in motion everything is much more dynamic, whereas in the photo, what is presented most commonly is static. Here we present a few samples of dynamic photos taken during residencies researching and focusing on the integration of dance & photography. These and other photos were used in the dance installation UNDYING HOME that was presented in Xiamen (July 2012) and Taipei (August 2012).
